Our Third Party Marketing efforts provide us direct contact with talented emerging and established hedge fund managers. We do the same degree of due diligence as a fund of hedge funds in selecting the mangers we represent to determine their ability to generate superior rates of absolute returns.
Our growing product mix of individual managers adds a level of diversification similar to a fund of funds product while bypassing the level of fees normally associated with a fund of funds. We do not market competing funds. Instead, we look to add exceptional funds that further diversify our hedge fund offerings.
Barry Sahgal

Mr. Sahgal joined Gilford Securities in November 2004, specializing in energy investments. Prior to his joining, he was with Brean Murray for five years and Ladenburg Thalmann for over 15 years – as Director of Research and on the firm’s Management Committee and Board of Directors. His activities include institutional/retail sales and corporate finance. As a research analyst, he was ranked the #1 Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Sector Analyst on two separate occasions in The Wall Street Journal All-Star Survey. He also was rated one of the leading energy analysts by Thomson First Call and Starmine. Mr. Sahgal was previously with Prudential Securities and Neuberger Berman for a total of 10 years. He is active in various non-profit organizations and has served on the boards of several international companies. Mr. Sahgal received a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with honors in 1971, followed by a Master’s degree in Business in 1972 from Imperial College at the University of London, England.
